Vancouver-based HubbubHR focuses on delivering midsize businesses with global, enterprise-class solutions that work across the entire talent suite. As the brand prepared to build their go-to-market strategy, they turned to The Starr Conspiracy.
We began with research.
As our teams began working together on preliminary research for SEO and PR strategies, we identified the opportunity to shift names from Hubbub to HubbubHR. This subtle but impactful change immediately boosted functional association and eliminated any potential brand confusion with brands of a similar name. We also pointed out opportunities to improve the current brand to make it more effective in campaign work.
We created a new visual identity.
Our teams collaborated to create a visual identity system that provided hierarchy and style rules for color, illustration, iconography, photography, typography, and patterns. Using symbolic iconography found in nature, we were able to extend their icon style and bring in a mix of line and fill shapes to make a complete illustration system. The addition of color and fill shape allowed the illustrations to communicate more complex ideas. This system also aligned the visual elements with updated brand messaging about simplifying the complexities of managing a global workforce.
The ability to earn the trust of the client, adjust and adapt to changing conditions, and build a spirit of collaboration have given HubbubHR a strong foundation to grow on.
